To boldly go...
Aug. 8th, 2009 11:37 pmSo, I finished Star Trek: Enterprise. I adored every minute of it. But... the season finale left me disappointed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/These_Are_the_Voyages... You can read up on it here.
I know fans hate it etc etc, but it was actually really underrated. It was REALLY REALLY GOOD. I think it's just that fans have lost sight of what Star Trek is. It's why they seemed to love Star Trek 11, when it was more like STAR WARS than Star Trek.
sry 2 say, boys and girls, but if you want constant space fights, multiple explosions, and the force, you can watch Star Wars. Star Trek isn't quite the same thing. And it shouldn't be how it was in Star Trek 11.
My favourite parts in Star Trek eps? Is when they get to have court scenes. I LOVE long talking scenes. You're exploring space, meeting new species (hostile or friendly), not intending to blow people up.
*sigh*
I really wish it could keep going on forever, but Trekkies just aren't that kind. I'll be looking forward to getting to watch (and laugh) at The Original Series, and then getting to watch The Next Generation (MY CHILDHOOD! THERE IT IS!), maybe some Deep Space Nine, even Voyager. I'd like to see them.
But Enterprise will always be my favourite. :) And here, have a smiley face. Courtesy of Dr Phlox.
