I tried the tablet but it doesn't seem to work. Hmm. Maybe I'll have to search my room for the pen. If it still doesn't work, I'll just sketchbook it.

If it's a Wacom tablet, yeah, you need the pen it came with, because that's what gives it the signal it needs to interpret your movements on the screen.
