Momosuke is the main character of Kyougoku Natsuhiko Kousetsu Hyakumonogatari (a kick-ass series, btw, Requiem from the Darkness in English). He's a writer, but actually just writes poems and riddles for children. He'd like to collect ghost stories together into a book called Hyakumonogatari - one hundred stories. He runs into three weird people, Mataichi, Ogin and Nagamimi, who have the duty of punishing murderers and evil-doers and - well, kill them. Although Momosuke really despises them at first, thinking they're just murderers as well, he sees they are a wonderful source for his book. Where is Mataichi, there is a story.
And of course, as time goes by, Momosuke becomes very fond of the three, and they also learn to really like him.
I LOVE the series to pieces, I wish it was longer than 13 episodes. The cast is totally dreamy! Check it out at ANN.
Heheheh in one ep, there's a guy who loves the taste of horse meat, but it wasn't actually horse meat... It was the meat of his FRIEND. Nakata Jouji was the fat guy that loved the meat and his friend was... OTSUKA AKIO. WOAH NOEZ!!!
So I was left with some funny mental images. xD;;;
It wasn't his friend but his BROTHER! O_O It was so ironic that he described the meat of his brother the best thing he had ever tasted... And wasn't Ootsuka Akio the eater, and Nakata the dead brother?
What about the ep with Suzuoki Hirotaka as a necrophile? I thought that was quite interesting O_O I'm telling you, the series rocks my socks x)
