I don't remember if the thing with the kid took place in the manga. Something leads me to believe it didn't. And if it did happen, then the place I got my manga from skipped over a few chapters. <<;; And that's happened to me before.

The fact that this mostly focuses on Rangiku makes me thing she's gonna have a Gin flashback. If it's official, then Gin won't be showing up. If it's filler, I have a feeling the ex-captain of third division might pop up to chat with Rangiku. That'd make me happy.
