Always Sad Time

I'm going to start another sonadow fanfic, but it would be rated around PG-14 or something due to language. But there won't be some heavy romance theme. It wouldn't fit with the atmosphere. Basically, when Sonic saves Shadow from the Ark battle (lots of fans say this so their sonadow stories will work), Shadow is badly injured. The group finds out that he has bad brain damage, and can't speak coherently or control himself that much. He's basically a retarded (or mentally diabled) Shadow now. Sonic loves him still, and does everything he can to look after him. At first, Shadow can't do anything on his own... Sonic would have to move him places, bathe him, feed him, etc. Later, Shadow can move and actually make sounds, but nothing coherent. The music I think of for this fanfic is "Hiro no Tsuki" by Arai Akino. It translates to "Daytime Moon". I highly encourage listening to this song. Anyway, the fanfic is not in the Sonic X "dimension". It's the mode from Sonic Adventure 2. I like Chris a lot, but the story would have been too complex and weird with Chris and the other humans in it. I've already drawn some pictures for it, and I will put them on my deviantart shortly...

I am a little evil or dark I suppose, but I can usually get the feeling of a sad story in really well. But that avatar I made earlier with Sonic saying I'm Here... I couldn't find a normal pic of Sonic looking like that, so I used that one. It's supposed to be when he's hugging Shadow after Shadow witnessed Sonic being beaten by thugs, and Shadow tried to help him but couldn't control his strength and almost ended up killing a guy. Sonic pulls Shadow off the thug and starts trying to calm him down by saying "It's okay! I'm fine! It's alright now! I'm here! Shadow!" Eventually, (with Shadow crying out in painful sobs) Sonic calms him down. I suppose it's sort of like the scene in 8 mile where Eminem is getting beaten, and his little sister is crying for him inside the house. I haven't seen 8 mile, but my sis told me about it, as she has seen it. More pictures on the way.

I don't like doing this to Shadow, anymore than I like having to have Sonic take care of him like a mother to a small child. But it came from a dream I had two days ago, and I realized that it would make a really good story.

I know he's not the type. ^^' That's one of the things. The song from Sonadow storylines is always doing things the normal Sonic wouldn't. But you have to think... If someone you loved dearly suddenly got into a condition that rendered them almost completely helpless and they can't even act like themselves, wouldn't you want to help them out as much as possible?

I always knew Sonic wasn't the type to cry like that, or be the nurturing type, but I really like the idea. It's just to have a different view on a Sonadow theme. But yeah... it's also for those who can use their imaginations to imagine Sonic being different. I'm not saying you don't have an imagination... I just mean that that's what will have to happen if people want to read this story.

I understand how it is ^^ I'm just not into the whole yaoi thing... unless it's an established pairing. I usually go for official pairings, but sometimes not ^^*

Yeah. I do like Sonadow... But I also like Sonamy. I'm not like some of those stupid (IMO) fans that say "Sonic has to be with Shadow! He can't be with anyone else! It's obvious they are together!" I mean, if it's a yaoi basis, I support Sonadow. But if it's Het stuff, I support Sonamy. But not the hopelessly romantic Sonamy. I like the cute stuff and also Sonic running from Amy. That's the Sonamy I like.

Wow. Off topic.

Anyway, I know not everyone likes yaoi. I'm just making a sad sad story. ^_^ I make a lot of those... ^^;

It's really cute, but also very sad and sometimes pathetic. I drew... 2 more pictures of that storyline, I believe. *tears* The "Hiro no Tsuki" song goes REALLY well with it. I'd be happy to send you guys the AMV for Shadow and Maria with that song in it... But you have to have yahoo emails, because hotmail is being an ass.
