:( I had to get readjusted by a chiropractor when I was younger. I remember being told the exact same thing - that it might startle me a little (and that I'd hear a click) but that it wouldn't hurt. But it did hurt. I remember screaming ^^; But I was pretty young at the time. I'm sorry you have to go through this, but hopefully they'll use that pop-gun thing instead of being so hands-on this time, since that seemed less painful. Good luck.
