Character interactions seem to make sense. What about action and animation/art?

And the Cyber Formula series was mentioned plenty of times (even OVAs) in the yearly lists for TOP 20 Anime (1st place is 92!), TOP 20 characters, and TOP 20 anime themes.
In the 92 list, under favorite male characters, Hayato was placed in 1st! Hayato is in 2nd! Other characters mentioned were Naito and I'm not sure who this is: 新条直輝. Under females, there's Asuka and Miki.
For anime themes, "Winners", "I'll Come", and "Dreamer on the Road" were selected.
That was when I started to get curious, especially since I like cars.
